A chemical peel is a treatment which is used to improve the texture and tone of the skin. They are commonly divided into two classes; alpha hydroxy-acid (AHA) or beta hydroxy-acid (BHA). AHA include lactic and glycolic acid whilst BHA include salicylic acid.

Each peel type has varying characteristics and downtime and your practitioner can tailor the type and strength of the chemical peel according to your skins condition, health and downtime.

We often combine our Chemical Peels with our LED device for optimal outcomes.

A consultation is required.

An initial consultation is required prior to treatment with a Chemical Peel this is to determine you suitability for treatment and to discuss pre and post Chemical Peel treatments.

Following assessment with a Skinfluencer and a Chemical Peel treatment is scheduled. On the day of the treatment your skin will be cleansed prior to the peel preparation being applied to your skin. During the application phase the skin will have a mild tingling or burning sensation which resolves following the neutralisation of the peel. Following the active phase of the treatment a post treatment serum will be applied to the skin.
